And should Hazard decide to join Real Madrid, Chelsea will look in the direction of Sterling as their first choice to replace the Belgian.
Sterling has been in fine form this season despite many not believing in his abilities.
He has already found the back of the net 14 times in the Premier League to propel manager Pep Guardiola towards his first league title in English football.
